Aspiring writer by trade, cowgal by heart, & follower of Christ by His grace alone.

I knew that I wanted to write anything and everything since first grade, and that passion for words never left me. Since then, I’ve filled countless pages documenting the changing seasons of my life.

I currently live in Virginia with my husband, Samuel, and our two year-old son, Walter Laine. When I’m not writing, deeply immersed in my Bible journaling, or hanging out with my family, I can most likely be found in a pasture with my four-legged children, Aristocrat & Palmetto. My passion for horses has run rampant in my heart since even before I learned to write, and fuels my creativity in ways I can’t begin to explain. I’m a firm believer that my best ideas have come to me on the back of a horse, and probably always will.

Personal experiences are such an important thing. They define us and teach us how to move through life accordingly with each lesson we learn. My experiences brought me directly to the feet of my Savior and changed my life forever.

Because of this, I’m making it my life’s mission to share my own testimony and those of others in order to enlighten and encourage anyone who happens to read my work. Sharing stories is such a pivotal part of the human experience that I will never take for granted. I hope to use my gift of narrative storytelling to amplify the beautiful messages of lives that have been changed by God’s perfect grace.
